Casper Faassen has a special interest in Asian culture, design and arts. He finds inspiration in Japanese prints, architecture and an introspective take on life in general. In 2016 he was invited by Japanmuseum Sieboldhuis to take this one step further and work on a solo exhibition there. He worked around the idea of ‘Mono no Aware’ which translates into a certain awareness of the passing of time. Taking things in slightly melancholicly but with appreciation of beauty at the same time.
